I'm stuck on how to turn the stopper part for my duck call

I have the Hut 3000 kit, and the instruction are not very clear.

I have the barrel turned ok, but my main question is how does the stopper get held in the barrel?

Ok I got It turned.......I just left the O ring on the plastic thingy....I was thinkg that maybe the O ring had to be groved into the stopper

i donot turn duck call but turn turkey call and stuff. i think the o-ring need to be groove like you said . but the way you done it will work .
