PM me if you're interested in some white oak turning wood.

This beauty was a 250 year old white oak. Died in my friend's yard. He doesn't want the wood to go to a landfill. I harvested a few branch sections. Now I need a part for my chainsaw, dangit. The branches are 16-20" in diameter. The trunk is 42" in diameter. A beautiful natural statue. I like free wood, but I sure wish the tree had lived. It was amazing to behold.

His neighbor is an artist, and he's going to carve the 12-15 ft tall trunk section that remains. It's been down for a week. I'm late posting because I was fishing last week. Not catching. Just fishing.

We don't want to swarm these nice folks, so if you're interested, please contact me and I'll contact them. I'm going to make his wife a nice big platter.
