I have noticed that a lot of posts have the last word of the first line repeated as the first word of the second line. Thought it was me at first, but a lot of others have the same disease.
Any ideas?

I haven't noticed that, wonder if it's a browser word wrap issue? What browser are you using? Can you add a link to a post where you see this occurring?

I posted about this once before. Can't remember what the answer was or if there even was one. Makes me think my eyes are stuttering. :D

Tom, I don't see any word repeating in that post. I think it might be something in your browser that is causing it.
I'm using Firefox 6.0.2

Tom - any chance you have the screen enlarged for better viewing? I believe that can be done with a 'Control +' command... I have had screens really do some strange stuff when the small area the text is supposed to fit in is overrun.

That's it exactly.

A lower resolution setting in Windows causes this software to display less then perfectly.
I'm at 800x600 and I see the repeated words. If I increase the resolution they go away,
but then so does my comfort level. (reading)

Ditto. That's what I was expecting to see. The trouble reported sounded like a browser issue. To paraphrase another 'creekers tag line, there is nothing not good about dumping Internet Explorer...

...even if IE isn't your problem :D.

It isn't your imagination.
