I am building a workbench, and I would like to have a portion of the work surface be removable so that I can insert different tools or jigs on different insert pieces (that will lock/clamp in place and be flush with rest of the work surface). I know that I have seen an example in one of the woodworking publications I read, but I spent the afternoon unsuccessfully trying to find an example. Can anyone point me to an example or give me advise as to how to go about this? Thanks, Hank

Norm did something like that on the NYWS on his Miter Saw station (I think) it had a spot for his hollow chisel mortiser to mount...

Jerome, please excuse my ignorance on this. I do not recognize NYWS. Can you direct me to it or to Norm? Thanks, Hank
