Lauren and I go to the Somerset Harp Fesitval each July, it's held here in NJ.
It's great seeing wonderful harpers and/or harpists perform. Some of them do things with harps that you would not think possible. Of course, during one performer's version of the William Tell Overture, he shot an arrow with one of the harp strings < vbg >

Lauren is learning to play folk harp, and recently got a slick carbon fiber instrument (I love new toys!). I may dabble with it a bit too, as we now have a few harps living in our house.

Just so this thread has some actual woodturning content... we made this pendant for the wife of a wonderful harp maker ( Timothy (http://timothyharps.ca/)from Canada). She loves Labradorite, and that's the stone we used in the African blackwood pendant.

That was cool, and just to confirm it's real, I clicked on one of the other videos where he's tuning up. Definitely real, and definitely real good!

Wow, amazing!
That's one of those youtube things where you click on one and the next thing you know you've spent an afternoon listening to Carlos Reyes. He's amazing. Thanks DD.

"...the next thing you know you've spent an afternoon listening..."

Si! Or an evening. That clip isn't even the best one. The kind of thing that makes me want to buy some music!
