Well I wanted to try out the colt fornster bit I got so made my first peppermil. l Really like the colt bits by the way. Made from old cherry over 50 years old and finished in CA/BLO and buffed on the Beall. It is 10 1/2" tall. I didn't want to make it real fancy so just went with a simple design.

Nice mill, Sid. That finish sure has a great shine to it. Salt and pepper mills are on the top of my "new projects to try" list for this fall.

Beautiful peppermill Sid. Now get a catalog from Penzey's spices and get you some of that 6000 degree pepper.:)

Sid, while the form on this may be simple the mill looks great. It looks much better than my first mill. And you did a super job on the finish, too!
