Finally, got a picture of the newest pen off the lathe. My favorite wood to make a pen out of: Spalted Curly Mango. The style is Jr. Statesman II. This stuff is so hard to find, the last time I was able to get a few pieces of it was 3 years ago.

Sweet pen Jon! I have a couple of pieces of that at home and am waiting on the right motivation to turn it. You did WELL by that piece.

Now that's a pen!! Beautiful wood!! Most of us have a hard time capturing curl in a photo... not this time around! Nice work Jon! Thanks for sharing!

Those are exceptionally nice, Jon. That wood and the Statesman kit make a very elegant pen.
