Very interesting Charlie. As for wanting the sharpener....should ones grinder cost more than ones lathe?

I checked out that grinder very closely at the Symposium. I don't need one, but what does need have to do with it. It is VERY WELL DESIGNED AND THOUGHT OUT! The only thing it won't do is sharpen/grind without you holding the tool. Compared to other 'knife' grinder/sharpener type belt sanders it is actually a bit cheaper than others of similar size. I have been trying to get one sent to me since the symposium. Not yet. Sigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baxter, if i went on craiglist i could probably get 2 used jets for same $, but i wonder if they send part of team out to set it up and give you the basics?
