In the absence of a bender (which is what the notch is for I'm told) I'm not sure what projects I can do with this stuff?

I have like 50 pieces - 5 x 10 x 1/4"

Any suggestions?

Anyone in the OKC area with a bender that would barter services for product?

Engrave a 12 month calendar for 2012 on the large left hand pane and then a list of public holidays and maybe some emergency no's on the smaller right , add your name etc and give em out as promo pieces.
Can be used to hold down paper or just left on the desk or even as a mouse pad (some mice might not work with clear)

Excellent idea... maybe adding a base along the long edge for desk use?

The smaller area could be personalized too ... name, logo, nickname, favorite cartoon character, ...

The best thing you can do with it is to pack it up and ship it to me.
I would take care of it for you. It's the least I can do..

I buy black bases from Huang Acrylic 2x5, 2x6 2x7,2x8,2x9 then cut a channel out of the center.

Then you can use the acrylic to cut out shapes and engrave. You can epoxy into the channel
the piece you cut. I couldn't get my images to load or I would have attached a few.

You could cut another square of acrylic out for a base and then engrave a rectangle with a gradient fill, going from White to black to create an angled engrave to set the plaque at an angle instead of straight up and down.

I like that idea, but will the laser engrave it consistent enough for it to work? i haven't tried it,
I know my laser wouldn't really handle it that well.

Rodne,

Your calendar idea I love, here are a few samples.

If you want one, it's yours, just let me know what you want on it!

I guess I could also put the Aztec calendar on this product... "limited time offer" and all
