I'm looking for the best flipper door hardware to use in a shallow cabinet. In other words, I want to maximize how far in a 13" deep cabinet 17" doors can retract. (13" being the usable interior depth.)

I've used a number of brands of flipper door hardware, but the best I can find is a 12" slide which retracts 8". Leaving 9" of the door sticking out.

The designer is fine with that for this situation, I just want to overachieve and do a little better....

Thanks guys!

This is why I hate working with designers. They love to draw up pretty things that don't work well in the real world.

Anyway, I've been in that situation a few times and have never seen anything that does much better than that. How tall are the doors? You might want to look into other solutions. Maybe an overhead garage style might get them totally out of the way. Or maybe a vertical lift type. With the onset of modern televisions needing shallower cabinets, the flipper door is losing its magic.
