Sometimes I look to the UK for design inspiration.
I'm making some invisible tambour doors like I first saw on Danish furniture in the 60's, so I searched around and found this. Look at the desk and table in the video.

Amazing. That tambour roll top is nearly beyond belief.

That is very inspiring stuff.

I have been looking for ideas on picture frames and clocks along similar lines to what is shown on blackstonedesign.
Anyone know of nice non-traditional clock/picture frame designs I can use for inspiration?

Guys like that make me want to just give up and sell my tools. Then I tell myself, they are not woodworkers per se - they are artists and just chose wood for the medium instead of oil paint or clay or marble. Fabulous stuff.

VERY true. The line between "art" and "craft" (or "craftsmanship") is very blurry and is often as much based on intent rather than the final product or process.

Right Glen. I was thinking surgical precision as I saw the video as well.
