I'm going to have a little Pecan, and a whole Cedar/Elm (at least that's what the tree company said it is) cut down Friday, March 4. If anyone is interested in this in the DFW area, let me know. I will need to tell the workers what length you would prefer (if they can accomodate) and to just stack it out in front of the shop on the drive. Only 1 limb of the Pecan coming down. Looks to be about 6 to 7" in diameter. The cedar/elm is a pretty good size double trunk tree. I measured the circumference at about 40". It has a bee hive in it now, but the bees will be exterminated before they take the tree down. Anyway if anyone is interested, let me know. I'd keep the cedar/elm myself, but I don't do the turny thing, and I don't have the equipment to resaw at this time. Jim.
