A small mesquite vase I made from the wood Kathy Marshall sent me, I wanted to do something small to start with to see how it turned, I have some other larger pieces ready to go for other projects....roughly "2 1/2 tall by "3 wide...4 Coats of WOP and Beall buffed...Thanks for the wood Kathy!!

Tim, that is a sweet looking form! And, the mesquite is perfect for it, too. I just did several sketches of some planned turnings and hope to dig into Kathy's mesquite in just a few days. Hope I can do as well with it!

That is some cool stuff Tim!! My only C is that I'd ease the mouth a bit...not much...but roll it more. The finish is great!! Many cudo's!!

Good looking form! I've turned Mesquite a few times now and each time it is a joy to work with! Very nice job on proportions on this one! Looking forward to seeing some bigger versions!
