Yah I seen a video on it a while back on FOG. I don't really think it was meant to replace the orginal domino. It seems way to big to be used to on small/medium size projects. This seems more suited for large projects like doors. Plus I've heard speculation on the price to be waaaay more than the current version.

I was thinking same thing that new version lot bigger. not think would work to good on small projects,. so if even break down and buy it think will keep the one have now also.

I would choose the new one,the grip looks much better and would be easier to hold, plus the extra stops look nice.

Hi guys,

Does anyone know the price? This is good for someone building Doors, Tables and larger projects as I do most of the time. Especially doors...
thanks

The only over lap in domino sizes is the 8mm & 10mm sizes.
The larger Domino model will use up to a 14mm thick X 140mm long Domino. Approx 9/16" X 5 1/2"

That is awesome, 5" tenons are sweet. Guess I'll be selling my Domino.

If they had a louver attachment that would be about perfect! I suppose a jig could be fashioned for the purpose. Any word on price point and US availability?

According to the Festool reps at the awfs, price will be very close to the original domino, release date somewhere in the next 18 months.
