Corel Print Merge to QR Code?

I'm looking to do a print merge in CorelDRAW with the output being a series of unique QR codes. Those are the 2D barcodes that are scannable by smartphones that you seem to see everywhere nowadays.

I've seen programs and websites that will allow the manual conversion of a text to a QR code that could be pasted individually into CorelDRAW, but I'm looking to automatically generate them in a print merge, with the merge file containing the text to be converted.

Has anyone done this? Is it even possible?

Interesting question :-) One link you might try is http://www.mw6tech.com/fonts/qrcode/qrcode.html -- Canadian company -- they seem to have a couple of possible products, although I've no experience with any of them. Trying a font approach might be a way to end- run the problem. Assuming you find a way, please post so the nerds among us will know... :-)
