A week or so ago I posted a maple cylinder that giving me some challenges. You all gave me advice and encouragement....one even suggested that I send to Dr Keller if it had too many holes in it. Well, here is the progression. C & C's if you have them!!!!!

Well done, sir! Any piece that you can see through from front to back is a winner in my book! The shoulder is a little high for a traditional form, but there's no rule that says anybody has to be traditional... In fact, I hear there are no rules at all! Kudos!

That turned out nice and its no wonder Keller likes it with that fist sized hole in the side!

Very interesting piece to look at. Not having done a piece like that, it makes me wonder how it hangs together.

Kudos to you on seeing the diamond in that rough blank and on perservering! Nice looking piece and some fantastic grain on the top.
