Have seen a lot of threads recommending the official delta base for unisaws and I want to order one but have a question. I see that they have two models 50-289 for unifence version and 50-257 for biesemeyer. I need the biesemeyer version but the description specifically mentions that it fits the newest unisaw models but says nothing about older versions. My saw is a platinum edition from a decade ago and I want to make sure it fits. Are the new saws the same foot print as the older versions? Could not find this info anywhere. Thanks.

Alex, I’m not sure if this will help or add to your confusion.. I have a 12 year old Unisaw w/50” Biesemeyer. I bought the MB at the same time I bought the Uni, my MB is a 50-289.

Confused. :). This kinda jibes with a neighbor of mines mobile base though. He has what looks like the 50 289 but it meant that he could not mount the right hand table legs all the way in the corners. He had to have them slightly in from front to back. Is this the case with yours?
