View Full Version : Great source for Cypress if yer lookin'!

I read about this Cypress that is being recovered from a sand pit. The wood has been dated. There are trees ranging from 25,000 to 40,000 years old! Some trees are 83" diameter and 90 Feet long.That is just amazing. You can be the proud owner of one of these boards for a mere $100.00 per board foot. It would be an amazing thing to own but I'll be passing on this deal. Thought some folks might find interest in this. Heres the link.

25-40 kyears old, Talk about yer "Old Growth" trees.

WOW! $100 per board foot, man, you'd better not need many board feet! :) One board would easily run you $1000.
