I've got the 18 volt Hitachi drill and it is fantastic. Off the same AH battery it runs forever. I've got the 18 volt version of the driver you posted about on my short list. Looking at the Lowe's listing, they mention Hitachi's lifetime LI tool warranty, wonder if that covers the battery? If so, that would finish selling me!
