Hi,
I've turned a brandy styled goblet last month, from end-grain apple - 8 in dia. I call it "my thunder mug" because it cracked and split so quickly I swear I hear the sound of thunder.
Is there a filler type material available which has a silver/ pewter like finish? I would like to fill the cracks in the apple bowl and finish it to have an appearance of being streaked with silver. The contrast should be nice.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, I'm in deep water with this one:confused:
