I was given a rather thin Cross pen and pencil set similar to the one in the link provided (size wise). I’d like to make a business card holder/pen stand. Does anyone know where I can get pen funnels for this sized pen? The regular size that Rockler sells (also linked below) is too big. Hopefully one of the pen makers here in the turner’s forum can lend a hand.

I just Googled "pen funnel kits" and got a slew of them like this one http://www.penmakingsupplies.com/Projects/kalegg.php. Not sure how to tell size except that it states that it will work with "slimlines". They are pretty small when turned straight and flush with bushings. I have one of the cross pens you show in the link and it is not much different then a slim slimline.

You could always drill a tapered hole, or turn your own. I believe that a "Slimline" is a lot larger than a Cross, Cross used to be my pen of choice until I acquired a Waterman. I prefer it even to most of the pens I have turned. Closest size to the Waterman that I ever found was a "toni" twist that WC used to carry.

Like JD, I have an "old" Cross pen like that in the picture. I'd think you could make one by staging your bit size to allow room for your pen. And thanks for the reminder! I haven't seen that pen in years...gonna pull it out!
