Very nice Phil..........I like the downturned corners to serve as legs. I made a walnut square winged bowl an gave it to my Doctor to put on his desk at work.........he said "I'm taking this one home..........my wife will love it." There is something about that square with a bowl in it that facinates folks.

Whoa, you do jump right in at the deep end! :D Having the corners straight or turned up is much easier, especially for the sanding stage. The downturned corners are nice but much more difficult.

Nice work on what looks to be Cherry! Like Bob mentioned - you did pretty good on the downturned corners! Also looks like you kept the thickness consistent! Looking forward to seeing what you turn next!

That is a really nice bowl. I agree the downward corners sure make it interesting.

Nice job. You should post a picture of your fingers to show you kept them away from the spinning corners!
