We have had some issues with little critters leaving presents in our worn out kitchen drawers, so I think I am going to pull the plug and replace the boxes. I have seen several companies offering replacement drawer boxes with ball bearing slides. Has anyone had experiences with these companies? Any referrals? As a bonus question... has anyone seen a drawer slide with a built in child safety lock?
Thanks!

I've got a toddler in the house and IMO the best locks for drawers are the magnetic locks that you screw into the back of the drawer face. Make some extra magnetic "keys"; buy some large rare earth magnets + cups from LeeValley and stick them on the end of a 1" dowel. Kids learn to defeat 1-handed locks pretty quickly (i.e. the push down plastic tab type for cabinet doors, etc.).

Seeing as your in Connecticut & close to Mass. I get mine from http://www.eagledovetaildrawers.com. Great people, very nice dovetailed drawers & they have the best price on the Blum slides
