panel saw bearings

I just purchased a used panel saw and some of the nylon ring "bearings" that wrap the u-bolt that acts as the slide are missing. I checked with the manufacturer and they ask $85 for a set for all 4. It looks like 3/8 tubing cut into 3/32" segments. Have any of you folks made some out of tubing with success?

Perhaps check out McMaster-Carr at mcmaster.com. They got a lot of small parts.

Check out the parts bin at Lowes, as they stock nylon spacers. Also look at PEX pipe, sliced like deli meat.

ACE and A.C.O. hardware stores have good parts bins. So does Menards. All are better then HD and Lowes.
