I am using the holdfasts that Jr Strasil made more and more -- I don't know how I got along before. I have no experience with other holdfasts but the little bit of spring in the "arm" on top in yours really helps them grip tight. I wanted to post a big THANK YOU!!! And if you ever make any more to sell here please count me in!!!!

I also have a set from Mr. Strassel and they work very well. May not be as pretty as some but are a pleasure to use.

I use mine all the time.

I only wish my situation would have allowed me to buy two pair.

Not sure if more than two would get used at a time, but my preference is to always have spares close at hand.

For some reason, I just never opened this thread, not sure why not, but I got a PM about it, and yes I will be making a few more pairs in the near future.

As the owner of two pairs of Jr.'s holdfasts, I can vouch for their quality. I also own a pair of the Gramercy holdfasts, but Jr.'s are always the first ones I reach for. It has just enough spring in them to hold down whatever you need it to.

All who requested it are on the 2011 list, I will notify as soon as they are made. Unless otherwise specified, they will be for 3/4 (19mm) bench holes.
