SWAT Beads Of Courage Box

Here's my take on a Beads Of Courage Box, the staved body is curly maple, the roof is stacked Louisiana cypress and the knob is Flame Box Elder. A little over 12 inches tall x 6 inches wide

Very nice and unique. I can't tell from the picture, is the "hole" an actual hole? It looks like it might be a piece of walnut to simulate the hole.
