CSUSA Jr Gent

As most of you would already know that CSUSA has 2 differant Jr Gents. The one they have sold for years and there newer Apprentice line which is much cheaper. Has anyone made a comparison of the two? I am talking about the quality of the pens when finished. I like that pen a lot but like anyone else I don't want to over pay but I don't want junk. Can anyone even tell there is a differance in the two kits. Fatter thinner don't make any differance.

Funny youo should ask Dennis!! I bought a blank from some one on another forum for a Jr Gent. I operated under the assumption that it was a JG II. It wasn't. So I ordered an Apprentice Jr Gent. It's a smaller pen in diameter, but the same in length. Lots of plastic, the refill is cheap, the refill spring is cheap...just not a quality product. But! is an entry level kit. I always use the Jr Gent II kits and have never had a complaint! The Apprentice model wouldn't sell for nearly as much.
