rummaging in my attic, found that...
seems old...seems ethnic...

chessnut dyed with black fabric paint, then textured, then a little touch with markal iridescent copper, then a little touch verdigris wax.
Finally waxed and buffed

something is enclosed inside, a secret.

that's very round, like the rustic appearance, twine ??, i am curious to how you finished the inside and what you put in there

I like the sphere a lot! I like the concept of the twine, but I'm not sure that particular string works for me... Seems like it might look better if you used strips of leather or something a little more rustic. I'd love to know what's inside!
