This is a recently completed birch bowl that measures 11 inches across and almost 6 inches high.

Pretty piece of wood Greg and I love the colors. That black "beauty band" adds to the overall feel of the piece too. I also like the addition of the texturing inside the band. Fine job!

I used my Dremel tool and a rotary chisel. PM me for details. I use the tool alot.

It was white birch that I got during the wood exchange at a recent club meeting. Really nice stuff to turn.

Thannks Greg. The spalted white birch is fun to turn. Never quite know what you are going to find but it is usually pretty!
