Hi
I was just wondering how everyone stores their blades. I have 4 Freud blades and have just been keeping them in a drawer in the original cardboard sleeves which are now getting pretty ratty. I want to make some sort of storage box and would love to see what other people use.
Many Thanks
Gil

Built this during a lunch break from a magazine article. That was 6 years ago. Maybe I should update?

I use a very high tech system, it is a pegboard hook. All of my blades are in Saw Jaws and I just have them hanging on my pegboard.
The Saw Jaw is a great thing to have, no blade cuts when you are handling the blade, no chance of hitting the blade on something as you are installing it. You don't need a block of wood to remove the blade or install it.

I use the same setup as Bill Huber. I like the SawJaw because it's simple, protects the blades teeth and makes installing and removing blades a piece of cake.

Another low-tech one. Easily portable. Blades separated by gasket material.

Obviousy.....
I need a better system... :D

The good news is that the storage drawer is just about done, but, not enough so to post a picture of it.
I added a shelf unit onto my Thien seperator/shop vac roll around station. One part of the shelf unit has a pull out drawer that will hold ten 10" blades.

90% of the time I use the same 3-4 blades, but it's nice to have room for more.
