River Birch popcorn bowl

That is the intended use anyhow! River Birch cut from my front yard a few years ago after an ice storm damaged that beautiful tree. 9x4 with 3 coats of satin wop just to seal the soft grain away from all that butter. Slanted the rim a bit on this one also.

I love EVERYTHING about this bowl. It strikes me as something you DO NOT use it for popcorn Bill. I will be happy to change its use in case you decide you had too much popcorn:)

Love the thickness of it and love the rim. Satin finishes makes this type of wood something you want to "caress" all the time ;)
