As a followup on a previous thread, I thought it might be interesting to tabulate the types and models of lasers used by SMC members. Send me a PM with :
Mfr
model
wattage
price paid
when bought
new or used

I will post the results periodically with no user names -may give us some insight or may not

Unfortunately, this project has died as SMC rules and regulations has stifled participation and efforts to promote it and keep it actiove.

I am not aware of a problem with the thread you started concerning a database of laser owners.
Send me a PM and include any pertinent information and I will see if I can get up to speed.

I moved George's thread to the mod forum for discussion as it had an incentive for participation. It was determined that the incentive could not be used but that the survey was just fine. I conveyed that to George.
