minimax 16 and 20 on sale

Just checked out the Minimax site, the 16 is 2495 including shipping, 3
blades, 1 carbide, miter fence, and mobility base. (sale)
Laguna has a new 14" 2hp, 12" resaw for 1195. Does not mention freight.
The 16 hd is $2295.
My plan was to get a saw I could use to resaw some, and make lumber
from 12" limbs, 3 or 4' long for smaller projects. Have been watching for
info on the Rikon and others trying to make the best decision.
After 40 years of dreaming of having a nice shop, I'm on my way, have
a unisaw on order, a 10" Oliver jointer on order, looking at the woodsucker,
the woodmaster planer molder, and just can't wait to get more lumber
sawed. Just too muddy at the moment. Jim

You have some nice equipment coming, congrads. I know the Rikon has gotten some nice reviews but you can't touch the quaility of a Mini Max band saw. It sure would go nicely with all you other machines.

Thanks for the heads up! I will have to look into this more. All of you guys are not helping my tool budget! I have been saving for a big bandsaw for some time...
