Sometimes these goblets warp a little! The crooked one was 8" tall when I turned it, now it is 8" along the curve. I made a "rough & ready" wedge to hold it up for the photo. These are Chinese Tallow.

Those are some neat looking turnings. How long did the tall one take to warp like that? You would have to glue or nail it down to stand it on it's base. lol

It was 5 or 6 hours after turning that I took the picture but most of the warping happened within one hour. It is pretty thin and the hot weather we are having dried it fast.

I love the crooked one, and the angled 'stand' is a great way to display it.
