Joe, It's Amazing! The color and effect are incredible. I really like the continuance of the form around the opening on these pieces you've been doing. Can't wait to see your next creation.

Joe, I love the color but then blue is my favorite color. That decorative work must have taken forever.

Joe, I like the form on this one very much. Little more "squatty" than some of the others, but I think that is what I like about it - very appropriate for the texturing and color. It really works well. Looks as though you sanded the color back a little so as to leave it heavier in the texture - great effect.

Very nice - as always! Great job on the carving and I do like how you left the dark blue in all the textured areas - really adds to the effect! Also, noticed how you managed to keep all the embellishments parallel to the carving! It's those little details that really elevate your work!

Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to seeing what you will create next!

Great looking piece! I love this texture/pattern, and the dye only enhances it. I'll have to try something like this when I get a better carving setup.

Joe,

Although this piece clearly demonstrates your understanding of color and form. when I checked your website I encountered the piece you call "tributary"
I would love to see a little more of that and some explanation of your process. Hopefully you will post some more pictures.
If I may ask, I would love to see more closeup pictures where you can show the entire piece (I enjoy seeing bottoms too).

Superb Craftsmanship. Congratulations Joe
