CLTT on Stainless Steel

I have an order for a dozen Stainless Steel Ice Buckets with a color picture on the side. I've done smaller items with no problem. However my mug wraps and mug press will not fit these larger ice buckets. They are between 8 and 10 inches around.

Any suggestions?

Doesn't anyone have an idea how I can tightly wrap larger cylinders? There has got to be way to do it & be safe at 275-300 degrees.

These guys sell wraps for cookie jars. Don't know if their big enough though.

One thing since you maybe new to CLTT remember toner is a plastic polymer and
anything you transfer to that Acetone won't hurt. Such as tiles metal etc can be
cleaned of with Acetone and re-used. ;-)

I was thinking, if you have a rubber pad, or something similar that's heat resistant.
You maybe able to wrap that around it with some hose clamps to hold the transfer tight.
The metal from the bucket may get hot enough for the transfer to take place.

Just a thought. If it does work, I would put the bucket back in the oven for a while longer
to make sure it really sets and didn't lose it adhesion to much when you pulled the transfer sheet off.


Worth a shot.

Although I do like the cookie jar and amy have to consider get a few of those.

I'm looking at both of these options. I think first I'll try wrapping with my silicon pad and some sheet metal, all held tight with a couple large hose clamps.
