I built one a long time ago but it did not work very well so I chopped it up. With all the nice parts available today I am thinking about building another. I wonder though if it would be wiser to purchase something that would be "guarantied" to be accurate? So I am turning to the voices of experience for suggestions and maybe even some links.

"Dubby" by Inline Industries is a good choice. I have an older version and like it. The new one is even better.

Yea, I believe that is the one I have seen mentioned here before. Looks very nice, maybe I will give them a call Monday as they do not list my General contractor saw. In-Line needs more pictures and I do not see prices for some of the options they list either.

I think the "Dubby" serves as a miter gauge as well as a sliding table which would be great for me since I only have the miter gauge that came with my saw. The stock General miter gauge seems pretty heavy duty but not very easy to set & lock in place even at 90 degrees.
