I need QS/Ribbon Sapele in Florida

Ran a couple of boards short for a project I'm almost done with, and suddenly can't find local QS/Ribbon Sapele.

Anyone know some suppliers in Florida?

I don't know of any in Florida, but East Teak in South Carolina is a major distributor. (Or at least their other location in Sultan, WA sure is; I have bought a lot of sapele from them.) If you call the S.C. office maybe they can point you to a local distributor.

Kinda hoping for something in the Tampa / Clearwater area. Those 10 hr road trips get old.

Alan, where have you tried... last I was over Weiss always seemed to have some...
I don't Know if Craftsman Supply on Busch has any... I have never been to inter city Lumber but they are another place to try... you could also call hardwood lumber and millwork in Lakeland, they may have some. I think there is another place in tampa but no one ever seems to remember the name of the place... Cocobolo ink is another place for lumber in st pete, but i doubt Harlan has any sapele.


If you don't find any at those places, shoot me a PM I will call a few people in the local clubs and see if anyone knows where to find some.

I tried Weiss. Their supplier of sapele went belly up, and they don't know when they'll next get in any sapele. It sounded like it could be quite some time.

I also haven't been to Intercity Lumber yet, but I think it's in my future next week.

I also found Hardwood Lumber and Millwork's name. I'll try calling them too.
