Got my set in yesterday. I'm now ready to rebuild civilization after the upcoming apocalypse. One good thing about apocalypse, there will be lots of scrap metal to melt down and reuse!

David & Vincent sound like they'd be an interesting pair to have over for dinner. I think I have a couple of their books, and I think the Gingery book on vacuum-forming plastics (and the one on building a drill press attachment to do injection molding) is on my wish list. If you are interested in a foundry, after a long time looking unsuccessfully for salvage materials to build my own, I found this: http://www.backyardmetalcasting.com/hmkit.html. I think I'd have a hard time putting the thing together for the price he's charging. Mine is now sitting in the garage with refractory cement in bags, waiting for a spare moment to be assembled.

Are you thinking about cope & drag, or something like lost styrofoam casting?
