Well here is the blue vase. It is 6 1/2" high and 4" across. Guess it is ok as it is now in the LOML's display cabinet. Not sure about the blue myself although it doesn't look bad maybe it just not my color. It is finished with several light coats of lacquer. I am going to make one more of this size and experiment with some colors. Hopefully won't mess it up.

I like it. The scalloped edge really sets it off. What is the wood and finish that you used?

Thanks everyone. I forgot to add the wood is pecan which was just plain so decided to dye it with transtint dyes. The finish is 7 or 8 light coats of lacquer. Forgot but here is the red and blue together.

Bernie,my friend, let me say I like both of them. If I may, I prefer the red one more than the blue. The pedestal on the red IMHO is more appropriate for a vessel that size. That is just a matter of personal taste and worth everything you paid for it. I think you have found your signature series for this summer!

Thanks again. Ken I plan on making a few more. The wife says she thinks a series would be neat so guess we will give it a go. Yep I did get the foot slightly small on this one.
