This is what I just finished working on today. It'a a new shape for me. Ambrosia maple, size is 3" dia. x 4 1/4" tall. 4 Coats of spray laquer,wet sanded to 600 grit and then waxed with Johnson's paste wax. C&C welcome and appreciated.

Wow, Ed!!! What a palette of color! This one is beautiful - and, well done! Great work on the dye application, and the finish looks great.

Nice form and finish. I really like how it took the dye, reminds me of old blue jeans. Very nice finish.

Very nice, Ed! Dye job and finish look great. I think that the base should be quite a bit smaller proportionally, but at 3" wide for the vase, I don't know how much smaller you could make it.

I really like the fact you didn't drench it in blue...although there are times that works well...this isn't. Very subtle and well done Ed!!! Maybe ease the mouth to shoulder radius a bit...my opinion only!

Really nice Ed. I like the form and the color is outstanding.
