HI!

I'm proud new owner of JQ4030 60W.
It's realy sturdy build machine, but with some chinese leaks.
(They realy don't give to much on accuracy)
It was almost plug and play, so about that I have no complaints.
The mirrors were aligned and works almost fine.

But there's a problem that I cant solve:

Cutting Speed: When I set cutting speed above 9mm/s Laser head moves arround, but laser just don't fire and the power meter is idle.

I suppose that is somekind of software setting issue.

Please can anyone help me out.

Thanks

Gregor,
Does your laser have a PVM switch? If so, on or off will control the laser power via software, the other will use the power setting on the panel to control the power.
Although I don't have your model, I'm assuming they're similar.

Hi Gregor;
What software are you running? May have mfr presets which can be changed. Who makes your machine?

Speed should have nothing to do with the lasers power level , the laser should fire at all speeds , some models will not fire at under 10% power , are you sure you not confusing power percentage and speed?

Mine won't fire under 7.2%. Why did you reinstall and any idea what the problem was?
Thanks.
