Heimdallr is the Norse god who lives where the rainbow bridge, Bifrost, meets heaven and stands watch for the coming of Ragnarok.

Eric,
That's a different approach with the cut-outs. I like the weight/thickness. The cutouts have me thinking of ways to use them. The shape to my eye needs to have more of an outward curve. Overall it has a whimsical look and is pleasing.

Thanks, this was a bit of a rescue piece. I had almost abandoned it last year and tossed it in the corner of my basement until I figured out how to save it. There had been a knot where one of the tears were cut. The knot cracked while drying and it took me a year to decide how to save it.
