Relief Carving

This is the piece that I will be competing with in relief carving this year. I finished it a couple of months before Joyce passed away so at least she had a chance to see it. I didn't show the frame but it's a shadowbox type built from old cedar fence boards, burned with a torch and then finished off with polyurethane.
