A tear in my eye

Been helping people clean up after a wind storm here in ne south dakota.

Just one friend lost 15 boxelder trees. If i had more room i would save more.

Im not doing any turning right now but save some for some friends in my woodworking club.

Theres lots of ash, elm, box elder, spruce, pine, hackberry apple and other fruit trees that went down.

Seems really sad that it will mostly all get chipped and hauled away.

Been busy with cleanup and really missed an opportunity to get some great turning stuff.
Saddest part is it will all end up as smoke not as turnings. Im sure storm season is not overwith yet
so more might be available
