Sassafras scrap burl Mini box

After seeing Ben Brown's lovely cherry scrap mini box I got inspired to look around my shop for a scrap I got use for something similar. I found this piece of sassafras burl and made something similar. The lid is walnut and the handle is cocobolo. A piece of bark flew off during the turning leaving a void on one side. I put a couple of coats of urethane oil. The body is about two inches tall and approximately 4" X 6" wide.
