Hello the Creek,
Latest days, I was experimenting with the legs (feet) of my bowls
This, I've try a spiral. It's very brittle now and I don't dare push the sanding...
Peer dyed with fabric paint. H 11 X dia 6 cm

About the title, I must admit that
I am pleased :)
I feel rejuvenated
Friendly, Lionel.

Very impressive work, I really like how the spiral continues up to the top of the vessel.

WOW:eek::eek:. Not sure if the texture I am seeing is what you are talking about w/ the sanding or if you added that but this is spectacular. Looks like an ancient handcrafted artifact from 1000's of years ago. I really like this piece.

Hello All
Thanks for your kindly comments
@ Chris:
texture you see along the rim is added and gilded. When I 'm speaking about sanding, I think the
tiniest part of the foot. that's very brittle.

Very neat idea. I really like the way you tapered the cup into the ribbon so it appears as two pieces.

WOW, I wish I had a quarter of the creativity you folks have on this forum. That is great original piece. If I don't have a pattern or an example to follow, I'm lost.

Brilliant design and execution. So many elements come together right its hard to pick any one aspect to single out for praise.
