They also have an easily navigable website. They can also do custom orders. They are about 5 minutes from where I live. Great place for anything metal.

You don't have where you are from, but Alro Steel has 46 locations in quite a few states and will get you what you need cut to size in one day. Will be considerably cheaper than most as a bonus. They have any kind of metal you can dream up in any configuration in stock in their hub, and transfer to the satelite locations daily.

I don't know what your application is, but if you are doing any amount of machining, then I would suggest either alloy 360 bar, or alloy 353 plate. We are mechanical engravers and light machining fabricators and those are the two best alloys to use. The 353 alloy is commonly known as leaded brass or clock brass.
McMaster Carr pricing will give you an idea of what you are looking at in costs for those alloys. 353 plate .375” x 4” x 4” is $112.00, 360 bar .375” x 4” x 12” is $71.00
