With a small yew branch (so, I still have).
H 90 X dia 77/60mm
The feet are cut from a crown provided for this purpose. The cut is made with Kutzall spiked burr. The work ends by hand.
Friendly,
Lionel.

very nice Lionel, is that sapwood the lighter color in that yew, you have chosen your piece of wood carefully---pretty wood, nice form---the second picture the form looks alive, and trying to decide if you are lunch

Lionel - I love the imagination in this piece! Looks like one of Walt Disney's animated characters! The natural edge provides a unique top edge but it is the shape of the feet that really grab my attention! Very nice work Lionel! Very nice!

Lionel, I really like this, it looks like a big mouth on legs, and it looks hungry...... Great job.

Very interesting, I like the combinations of color in the wood and the wavy natural edge.

Neat piece, Lionel! I love that the you placed the legs so that they are part of the sapwood providing contrast with the main part of the form.
