Hi all,

Does anyone have a good source for 6mm shank router bits (straight cut)? Its for a specialty Austrian machine.

The current ones are 6mm dia x 32mm length - I need a source.

A regular metal cutting end mill would also work.

CMT, the Italian carbide company issues two catalogs. For us Americans the 'small' catalog offers all the Imperial sizes.

But the 'big' catalog shows many, many more items. And including metric bits and metric shanks. I use a lot of 8mm bits for an English machine I own, and only CMT has them available. Usually on special order here in the U.S.A.

Both catalogs can be downloaded from CMT's International website.

Here's a link to the page. The Euro catalog features metrics. The US catalog is all Imperial. As you would expect, there is vastly more to choose from in the Euro book.
